Okay. Es ist ein Uhr morgens. Fast. Ich bin an dem Punkt angelangt, wo man zu müde ist, um aufzustehen und ins Bett zu gehen. Eigentlich wollte ich packen. Eigentlich sollte ich lernen. Eigentlich mag ich nicht deutsch schreiben.
Heute ist Donnerstag. Also nein, eigentlich ja eben schon Freitag. In 2 Wochen soll ich in der Schweiz sein? Nun ja, es ist weit entfernt. Im Moment heisst es Abschied von Iowa nehmen. Morgen habe ich noch eine Prüfung. Packen. Abschied nehmen. Abschied. Abschied. Abschied. Abschied. Vielleicht wird es einfacher, wenn man es wiederholt. Naja.
Ich habe schon von einigen Leuten Abschied genommen. Oh I'm so sad, sage ich dann. Nur, ich fühle es noch nicht. Ich glaube, meine Gefühle sind immer ein bisschen "hintendrein". Ich kann es mir einfach nicht vorstellen, dass dieses BYE ein GOOD BYE FOREVER ist. Tschüss, bis nächste Woche. So fühlt es sich eher an. Ich bin ja immer noch hier, meine Freunde sind ja immer noch hier. Aber dennoch spürt man die Abschiedstimmung immer mehr. Alle sind am packen, im first floor kann man Sachen spenden, die man nicht mehr will.
Meine roommate Joo Yuen ist heute schon ausgezogen, sie wohnt noch für 2 Tage bei einer Freundin. Ich fühle mich ziemlich allein, aber irgendwie hilft das, sich aufs Verlassen vorzubereiten.
Für mich heisst es ab Samstag: Wisconsin, dann Chicago und schliesslich Ende Mai dann, naja, das ist ja noch weit weg...
